Homeowners looking for a low-maintenance, long-lasting, and versatile roofing material can trust Byler And Sons for complete metal roof installations. Metal roofs come in 26 or 29 g and with a 40-year warranty paint system. Our installation method means that homeowners don’t have to worry about maintenance other than simple cleaning and debris removal. The ideal choice in areas with severe weather, metal roofs are also energy-efficient, heat-reflective, and environmentally friendly. As an added bonus, metalworking material is nonflammable and can withstand winds of up to 140 mph.

Metal roofs have been around since World War II, and they were developed to protect important commercial buildings from air raids. Today, metal roofing material has been refined and made affordable for homeowners looking for something with a long lifespan (up to three times longer than a shingle roof), and that can protect from the elements. As one of the most energy-efficient roofing materials, you may save money on your utility bills each month simply by installing a new heat-reflective roofing system. Plus, if you’re concerned about hail, fire, or hurricane-force winds, you won’t find better protection than a metal roofing system. It’s also lightweight and available in a variety of colors to fit your home and design style.

Roofing FAQs

Why should I choose a metal roof?

Metal roofing systems are environmentally-friendly and, when you consider the 40-year warranty, they are easy on the budget, too. Our expert roofing technicians can walk you through your options and show you how you can keep your home safe from the elements for years to come.

How do I know I need a roofing inspection?

There are many signs that your roof may have damage. These include missing shingles, discoloration, and water stains on the interior of your home. However, if you have not had a roofing inspection in more than a few years, there may also be hidden issues, such as leaks and rotted plywood, that you can’t see from the ground with the naked eye.

How much does a new roof cost?

There are many factors that go into the cost of a new roof. In addition to the materials you choose, the size of your roof and even the grade of the slope all factor into your overall investment. At Byler And Sons, we take pride in offering the best value in the industry. That’s why we recommend metal roofing systems. We also offer asphalt shingles for consumers needing a quick roof replacement on a budget.

How long does it take to replace a roof?

Usually, we can replace the roof in about a day. Keep in mind, however, that yours may take longer, depending on the size of the project and if you have an old roof that needs to be removed prior to installation.

What are some things to ask my roofing company before I sign a contract?

You’ll first want to ask about their experience and whether they are bonded, insured, and licensed. Ask your technician if they can provide reviews, references, and testimonials. Don’t be shy about asking to see a copy of the roofing warranty and whether or not your roofer is BBB Accredited.

Who do I talk to if I have a problem during installation?

Each project is assigned a project manager, and you will be provided their contact number at the beginning of installation. You can always call the office or touch base
